(Photo: Boeing) Boeing rolled out the 787-10 widebody airliner assembled at its North Charleston, South Carolina, facility on February 17 in a rousing ceremony headlined by U.S. President Donald Trump. The longest variant of the Dreamliner family, the 787-10 now begins the flight-test phase in advance of planned first deliveries next year. With the deep blue and white fuselage of the first 787-10 serving as a backdrop, Trump, who was introduced by Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg, delivered a campaign-style speech that emphasized his “America first” philosophy. “I have to say, that is one beautiful airplane,” the president said, motioning toward the Dreamliner. “What an amazing piece of art; what an amazing piece of work.” In his 16-minute speech, Trump made references to the Boeing 747-8 that will serve as the new Air Force One around 2023, and the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet that has been held up lately as competition for Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Lightning II. The 787-10 “We’re going to rebuild our military,” Trump told the audience of several thousand Boeing employees and visitors. “By the way, do you care if we use the F-18 Super Hornets? We are looking seriously at a big order,” he added. 787-10 Boeing staged the roll-out ceremony two days after production workers in South Carolina decisively voted against joining the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers, maintaining their status as a non-union shop. The manufacturer assembles Dreamliners at both its Everett, Wash., and North Charleston facilities, but the 787-10 will be assembled exclusively in South Carolina. With seating for up to 330 passengers, the 787-10 is 18 feet longer than the 787-9 Dreamliner,

Empty Legs — October 17th to October 24th

Empty Legs - October 17th to October 24th Aircharter.com is pleased to announce its 9 hottest empty leg offers. We offer thousands of empty legs via our booking engine, but the Aircharter team has compiled a list of the hottest empty legs available starting tomorrow for the next week. Also added are some future empty legs not to miss! Consult our Empty Leg Guide for any information regarding the mechanics behind an empty leg. Or alternatively, contact us for more information about any available empty legs for lightning speed pricing. The prices listed are 100% accurate and all inclusive (Fees and Taxes). Pricing is subject to aircraft relocation time in the case of changing the departure or arrival airport at your convenience. The way a traditional private jet charter works is very simple; chartering a private jet means you rent out the entirety of the aircraft for the entire duration of your trip. This means if a potential customer wishes to fly from New York to Florida as a one way trip, said customer would pay for both legs of the trip, as the aircraft would essentially be returning empty, and the customer is responsible for all flight charges concerning his/her trip. Flying an empty leg home means you would be paying approximately half of the traditional cost for chartering said private jet. Empty legs are always available and directly offered if one is available for your trip request, our main charter team works closely with the empty leg team to always default to a less costly alternative if availability allows it. Please contact us today if you are ready to book your empty leg with Aicharter.com
