Mid sized jets are built for trips between 2,000 and 4,000 nautical miles, which is just able to make intercontinental flights possible. Boasting a much larger interior than light jets, and generally configured for the same amount of passengers, mid jets are much roomier and comfortable to fly in than nearly any light jet.
